Self-Managed Websites
Take control — with the right support behind you
A self-managed website gives you the ability to update your own content when it makes sense for your business. This might include editing text, updating prices, adding blog posts or publishing news — all without needing to wait for a developer.
That said, WordPress isn’t always straightforward for beginners.
While some of my clients confidently manage their own updates, they’re very much in the minority. Most business owners prefer the reassurance of knowing changes are handled correctly, securely and without risk to their website.
How it works in practice
I build self-managed websites using WordPress, with a clean, well-structured setup and clear editing areas. I’ll show you how to make the updates you want to make — and just as importantly, what not to change.
Self-management works best when:
You’re comfortable working online
You understand the risks of incorrect updates
You’re happy to learn the basics properly
For everything else, I’m always on hand to help.
Flexibility, not pressure
There’s no expectation that you must manage your own website. Many clients choose a hybrid approach — making occasional updates themselves, while leaving more complex changes, maintenance and security to me.
It’s your website, your choice — with honest advice and support whenever you need it.
